Have you used hoopla for movies and TV shows? Hoopla has big news for those of you who are watching movies and TV shows on the small screens of smartphones and tablets! If you own a Google Chromecast, you can now send a movie or TV show to your TV. You just plug the Chromcast into an available HDMI port on your TV and cast borrowed video titles directly from the hoopla app on your smartphone or tablet.
To use Chromecast, your smartphone or tablet and your chromecast must be logged in to the same wi-fi connection. The Chromecast app will walk you through these steps. This works for both versions of the Chromecast.

At this time, hoopla does not have any specifics for other streaming device releases, such as the Roku or Amazon Fire Stick. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they come out soon!
